Sugarcane is an important industrial and cash crop. It grown in almost all areas India, But commercial basis sugarcane produced tropical sub states. Because of available raw materials, most the sugar mills are located these areas. production India has been attributes to lack rainfall, reduction cultivation area. Also affects due drought decrease soil health, high level input cost. This paper presents overview industries, state wise area cultivation, production, productivity. descriptive nature completely based on data information from secondary sources.
